My Life as a student of "A Course in Miracles"

I have been a serious student of "A Course in Miracles" for about 5 years now. Before that, I dabbled in the Course, but it wasn't until I had a major healing with my son that I made the decision to dive in fully and completely! 

I have made a commitment to my connection with the Divine through this teaching, and I am getting results!! I had been a "seeker" for more than 15 years before this point and I felt helpless in the face of my many challenges... nothing seemed to work... until now.

The results I am achieving through my daily commitment and practice are nothing short of miraculous, but it takes vigilance and dedication to both study and apply the teaching, not just read and analyze it. It is my #1 priority. The Course promises that if I make my connection to God/Love my primary purpose, all my needs and wants will be taken care of! It's hard to believe at the level of the world, but I find that the more I take responsibility for my experience, the more peaceful and loving my life becomes!

Another one of the beautiful things about this spiritual thought system is that it does not claim to be superior to other paths...  it is, quite simply, for those people who resonate with it. It's okay for others to have different paths because we are all loved equally by Source no matter what "course" we are taking... and we are all waking up together as the "one mind".

Celebrating my Send Off into the Divine Mystery

My dear friends honored me with a Send Off Celebration last night to support me in my imminent departure into the Divine Mystery of my open-ended road trip to the Deep South! It was a joy filled evening of being wrapped in the love and encouragement of the amazing souls who surround me in my life. I will miss them dearly… <3

We had a contest to vote for a mascot to bring with me on the journey, and I am pleased to announce that from four contenders, Buller (a Danish childhood toy pictured above) was the winner! He will be joining me as my mighty traveling companion and the symbol of all those I love who will be with me in spirit... and following my progress throughout this adventure of Trust, Love and opening to the guidance of the Universe.

Preparations (both physically and emotionally) are intensifying as I approach my last week before departure. Packing is going well, but many emotional triggers are bombarding me and bringing up fears within… of the unknown...

• Will I have the stamina for this trip?
• Will I be scared?
• Will I be lonely?
• Where will I sleep?
• Will the Universe really have my back?
• Will I live my potential?
• Will I hear my guidance?

I am stretching my boundaries well beyond my comfort zone, but these questions can only be answered as I move from my thoughts into action… I am looking forward to finally reaching the "experience" of it!!

Unveiling the 2nd Message from the Universe!!!

I have managed to circulate nearly 500 "Messages from the Universe" cards!! I know this because I am down to my last dozen or so cards from my first order of 500. :) 

It was time to create a new message from the Universe! Wow… what did the Universe want to share through me this time?? What you see above is the result of quieting my mind, opening my heart, and sharing the inspiration that flowed. 

I'm excited to restock my supply of envelopes with cards and cash, go out into the world, and continue to be a conduit for extending Love to as many people as I can! 

I LOVE doing this work! It has become part of my heart and soul, and what I "do" in the world… my job!! :))) I can't imagine doing anything more fulfilling and satisfying in any capacity! Spreading Love, hope and inspiration has been far more wonderful than I could ever have anticipated! 

I am so grateful for the support and encouragement I have received from so many, including 3 generous souls who have donated money to help keep this project going… thank you!!! My desire and intention is to have it continue to expand, grow, and touch more and more people!

YAY!!!! Happy Dance! :D

This is a message for you from the Universe...

Sooo… I have been distributing my messages from the Universe for over 2 months now! (Click here to see how this project was birthed.) The image above is the actual card I designed that is included in each envelope with various amounts of cash. 

I have given out approximately 150 envelopes… to homeless people with signs, random people walking down the street, in coffee shops, at events, as tips… as well as left on bus benches, car windshields, gas pump handles (my favorite!) and anywhere else I feel moved. 

The experience has been profound and continues to push me up against my edges as I explore my heart connection to complete strangers. Often, I wish I had related more deeply in the moment with an individual, but my interactions are continuously evolving, and each one brings an opening that helps me appreciate my oneness with everyone more and more!

With homeless people, it has been especially powerful. Before this project, I rarely, if ever, gave money to people who asked for it… feeling uncomfortable and awkward, and always averting my eyes. Now, when the opportunity presents itself, I truly see the person, witness them, and acknowledge their presence with love. 

Even though they have no idea what I am giving them (since it is hidden in an envelope) I have experienced such joy, appreciation and outpouring of gratitude that it makes my heart sing. I believe that just to be truly seen and valued with eye contact, a smile, conversation and loving intent is the genuine gift of our interactions… I know it has been for me!

The Great Hug Drought

I've been sick for 10 days... days of almost no human contact. 10 days of dealing with a body... (which is not who I am of course, but is most certainly part of this experience of being human) that is behaving in a very unpleasant, unpredictable, and vulnerable way. 


And 10 days of no hugs... until today. Most people are worried about touching me or being near me - they don't want to "catch it" or get sick. And I can understand that. So what really surprised me was when my friend, Michael, came by to visit me at the hospital this morning and gave me a long, loving, heartfelt, tender hug. I was so grateful for the human contact... especially when I understood that I didn't even realize I needed it the most.

Hugging Makes a Difference

Do you ever wonder how you can make a difference? ...how you can contribute something of yourself to make a positive impact in the world? Do you wonder what that could possibly be??

Perhaps you can’t imagine what you have to offer the world... Or perhaps you’re thinking too big and it seems unattainable... But making a difference could be doing something as simple as giving someone a touch, a smile, a hug, or even a word of encouragement. You really have no idea how great of an impact you can have on someone by giving something you may consider insignificant. 

So don’t judge your contributions based on the impact you perceive, but in the potential effect it could have on others. No effort is too small to make a lasting impression, as long as it comes from your heart and your intentions are pure and loving.
